How to find us

We are located in the Memorial Building on the Bangor University Science Site.

Arriving By car

Leave the A55 at Junction 11 and follow signs to Bangor. Pass Llandygai industrial estate and Port Penrhyn. The University Science Site is located just after Pontio on the right hand side of Deiniol Road. Park in the main car park opposite the science library.

Please Note: Access to the car park is restricted. Contact us for access and to arrange a car parking permit before you set off.

Arriving By train

Bangor is on the main London to Holyhead rail line. Several direct Avanti services run daily through the midlands. A direct trans-Wales service, operated by Transport for Wales, runs between Cardiff and Holyhead.

Arriving By air

Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester International airports lie just one and a half hours’ drive from Bangor.
